Designed for 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows family operating systems, it monitors all internal operating system activity relating to the starting of applications (Processes) and loading dynamic-link libraries (DLL's).
Launch Control gives you the ability to:
- block starting a process;
- block loading a DLL or a screensaver;
- mark a process or a DLL as permanently blocked or allowed;
- allow digitally signed modules from trusted publishers by default;
- allow a process to load any DLL without a prompt;
Launch Control works on session level. This means that every user in the system can have its own independent Launch Control installed.
Launch Control uses neither kernel-mode driver nor any undocumented operating system features. Also, there is no kind of hooking or patching within Launch Control. It is a complete user-level application based on well-known Windows APIs. Further information about how it works, is
